Traveling around on Naxos Island

Naxos has a fairly good road network. Asphalt roads lead to most villages, beaches and sites to see on the island. The few dirt roads on the remote sections of the island are in good condition.

The basic roads are as follows:
Chora – Egares – Apollonas.
Chora – Airport - Agios Prokopios - Agia Anna.
Chora – Vivlos – Mikri Vigla - Kastraki - Alykos – Pyrgaki.
Chora – Galanado - Sagri - Chalki - Filoti - Apiranthos - Moutsouna – Panormos.
Chora – Kourounochori - Kynidaros - Moni - Keramoti - Koronos – Skado - Komiaki - Mesi – Apollonas.

Regular bus shuttles connect most areas. You can also rent a motor car, motor cycle or bicycle from the rental offices that are on the island. You can even rent a taxi.
