Access Naxos and Kastraki

By sea: the harbour of Naxos is only 103nm from Piraeus. The connection from Piraeus and Rafina harbors is regular with many shuttles especially in the summer months. The ship will get you to Naxos harbour in 3.5-5.5 hours, depending on the route.

By Air: aircraft leave the international airport of Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos) for Naxos island every day and during the peak holiday season once or twice a day. The flight lasts 25 minutes.

By road: Access to Kastraki is by road and the distance from the harbour and airport is only 16.5km. the road is of a good quality asphalt and only the very last kilometer is well maintained dirt road adding to the adventure.

Regular bus shuttles connect the harbor and airport with Kastraki as well or you can hire a motorcycle or motor car from vehicle hire offices on the island. Among the other services, Summerland hotel offers its guests, is transportation to and from the harbor and airport upon agreement or can arrange for a car hire at special rates.
